Voluntary Initiative involved in Defra-funded AHDB-led Resistance Roadshows
In collaboration with AHDB and other organisations, the Voluntary Initiative will be speaking and exhibiting at a number of free Roadshows. These aim to raise awareness of resistance and resistance management in pests, weeds and diseases. The roadshows run through to the end of February 2026.

Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
As part of the Sustainable Use Directive, the UK government is required to show that UK growers are using Integrated Pest Management practices.
Grassland Focus
Careful use of PPP’s in grassland and forage agriculture is a particular focus for the VI. In comparison to Arable areas, PPP’s are often used less widely and less frequently but the importance of best practice cannot be understated.
