AIC celebrates 20 years

The VI is proud to help celebrate the 20th anniversary of one of its sponsor organisations, AIC (Agricultural Industries Confederation).

In 2023 AIC marks 20 years as the UK agri-supply industry’s leading trade association. In celebration, the organisation is looking back at some of its greatest achievements since it was founded.

The AIC is one of the founding eight sponsor organisations of the VI and continues to play a vital role on the VI Community Interest Company (CIC) Board and to shape VI strategy through participation in our Strategy Group.

Back in May, one of the programmes of work highlighted by AIC was that to help prevent the sale and use of illegal plant protection products.  This workshop, held in conjunction with CropLife UK and the NFU (National Farmers Union) was supported by ourselves and Red Tractor.  Information about the background to the workshop and what advice was given can be found here.
