Pro OPERATOR Magazine focuses on recent developments of closed transfer systems (CTS) and highlights some features that will be on display later in January at LAMMA 2024

The Spring 2024 edition of Pro OPERATOR Magazine (the magazine sent to all 21, 000 NRoSO members) focuses on recent developments regarding closed transfer systems (CTS).

CTS protect sprayer operators and the environment from contamination when filling sprayers. Instead of pouring into an induction hopper, the wholly sealed CTS system extracts the product, measures any part pack, transfers it to the tank, and rinses the container without removing the cap.

As well as reducing the risk of contamination, CTS is likely to play a significant role in providing access to some vital chemistry when it comes up for re-registration.

Pro OPERATOR Editor Mick Roberts examines existing systems and two new prototype units recently demonstrated at the Agritechnica show.

EasyConnect will demonstrate some CTS units at LAMMA 2024 later this month (17-18 January 2024) at the NEC  in Hall 10, Stand 617.  The VI, NRoSO and BASiS will also attend the show (Hall 10, Stand 300), where members can collect CPD points for attendance and extra points for completing up to four knowledge trails at several stands around the show.
