Still time to apply for FSOOTY (The Farm Sprayer Operator of the Year) 2024

Entries for the Syngenta Farm Sprayer Operator of the Year 2024 are now open, and it could be you lifting the trophy in the Sprays & Sprayers Arena at Cereals and winning an all expenses paid trip to the Agritechnica Show in 2025.
Organised and run by Syngenta, in association with the Voluntary Initiative and Ei Operator, FSOOTY gives UK sprayer operators the recognition they deserve. Building on the success of previous years, FSOOTY celebrates excellence in sprayer operation, while fostering a sense of camaraderie among operators.
“FSOOTY is proven to be an incredibly rewarding and enjoyable experience for all who participate,” says Scott Cockburn, Syngenta Applications Specialist.
“Everyone who enters faces similar application challenges and frustrations and there’s a huge amount to gain from sharing experiences and ideas. One thing that is repeated every year is that entrants always find they learn something new from other operators and can improve the way they work,” he adds.

Answer three straightforward questions and submit your entry by 18th January 2024 (Final day of the LAMMA 2024 show).
Successful entrants are sent ten more questions and asked to submit an operator top-tip. Finalists are selected from those with the most correct answers and bests tips. Judges then visit the farm to interview finalists and look around their operations. The winner will be announced on 11th June at Cereals 2024.
