NRoSO Announces CPD Points Increase for 2025/26 Membership Year

The National Register of Sprayer Operators (NRoSO) has announced an increase in the annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points requirement for its members, effective from the 2025/26 membership year.
Om 23rd May, the organisation announced an increase in the annual CPD (Continuing Professional Development) point requirement from 10 to 11 points, effective 1 September 2025. This change aims to enhance professional standards and ensure that sprayer operators remain current with industry best practices.(nroso.org.uk).
VI Chair and east Fife mixed farmer, Dave Bell, said: ''This is a great opportunity for the industry to take the lead in proving that we are a professional sector, and that we, the operators, are taking ownership of ensuring that plant protection product stewardship is carried out by operators and farmers rather than policymakers. I welcome this positive, proactive increase in points as advised by the NRoSO advisory board and implemented by The Voluntary Initiative, and is in line with the recently revised National Action Plan.ββ

Pesticide Assessments: Achieving or refreshing Pesticide Application (PA) qualifications.
