Use of propyzamide ends soon for 2023/24 season

Don't forget, for most uses, it is illegal to use propyzamide after 31st January each season.

Just a reminder regarding the use of propyzamide where the label clearly states (with the exception of lettuce) the last date for legal use is 31st January (i.e. "before 1st February") each season.

What can agronomists, managers and sprayer operators do to help?

There are 3 steps you can take to help

 Use The Environment Agency's Farmers page ( to find out if any of your land is in a Drinking Water Safeguard Zone (DWSgZ).

 If you are farming in a DWSgZ, speak to your local water company catchment officer to understand the potential risk on a field-by-field basis, or speak to your BASiS qualified crop agronomist.
